Diyixian launches a new vision and brand campaign

Diyixian unveiled a new vision and brand campaign which reflects that with 10 years of achievement, the company has transformed into a new stage. The vision, expressed in the statement: "Connect to China , Link to the Future", was launched across Hong Kong starting in July 2009.

In this new campaign, we have rolled out the new slogan “Connect to China , Link to the future”. It implies continuity between the past and the future – connecting with Greater China while moving onto the next stage of development at the same time. Besides we have mentioned our 10 years achievements as follow:

  1. The largest cross border MPLS VPN provider in Greater China with more than 6,500 MPLS VPN service points.
  2. Services coverage over 700 cities.
  3. Hosting over 4000 servers and machines for customers.
  4. Over 600 terabits biz traffic transmitted every day.
  5. Total revenue grew by 380 times from 1999 to 2008.

Diyixian unveils its first corporate logo change in a decade Connecting with Greater China and expanding worldwide

Diyixian has been Greater China’s premiere network service provider for the past ten years. Seeing the untapped potential for development in the APEC region’s network services market, Diyixian will invest HK$50 million dollars into service expansion in the coming year. Besides setting up POPs in Japan, Vietnam and rapidly developing cities in China, Diyixian also has plans to extend the scope of its services to cover parts of Singapore, and to expand its IP Call Centre and data centres in southern China.

“In the past decade, Diyixian has built a versatile network system in Greater China,” said Lap Man, founder and CEO of Diyixian. “Diyixian’s up-to-date products and services have helped its customers adapt to the ever-changing market. To meet these new challenges, Diyixian has designed a new corporate identity that represents a leap from the company’s accumulated foundation into the future. In addition to accelerating business development in Greater China, Diyixian will bring customers into contact with markets outside of China.”

Diyixian is the largest MPLS VPN service provider in the region with more than 6,500 MPLS service points. Diyixian is the only MPLS service provider to obtain the ISO 20000 certification. Moreover, it has become the first joint venture company to receive a nationwide value-added telecom license from the Chinese Government. Diyixian is China’s leading network service provider, furnishing IP VPN and IP Call Centre services to more than 600 cities in China.

Lap Man unveiled the new CI during Diyixian’s 10th anniversary celebration event. In taking this decisive step, Diyixan has committed itself to serving its customers with its new vision to “Connect China.Link to the Future”. This has become the company’s new motto, signifying Diyixian’s pledge to help customers expand their businesses beyond the Chinese market. The company plans to build upon its staff of 400 to meet the needs of its expanding businesses.

Significance of the new logo

  1. Diyixian’s curved orange Arc has been retained, reinforcing the stability of the foundation that has been laid in the past ten years.
  2. The shape of the Arc has been altered to represent a leap from one point to another, symbolising the company’s leap from its established foundations into the next stage in its business expansion. The Arc symbolises the energy, speed, vigour and dynamism that is inherent in the company’s core business.
  3. The new logo is orange and black, representing energy, flexibility, stability and reliability.
  4. The “X” in “DYXnet” represents a multiplication sign. This symbolises Diyixian’s exponential growth in the years to come. At the same time, “X” is also like a crossroads, metaphorically as a place where things meet. It serves as the appropriate symbol for the Net.
  5. English has been added to the logo. Customers of DYXnet are represented not only in Greater China, but throughout the world.

Significance of the new slogan / motto “Connect China.Link to the Future”

  1. “Connect China with Diyixian” was the motto with which Diyixian was first established. The new motto implies continuity between the past and the future – connecting with Greater China while moving onto the next stage of development at the same time.
  2. “Connect China ” clearly indicates Diyixian’s competitive edge, while “Link to the Future” hints at unlimited possibility.
  3. The word “Future” has three implications for Diyixian:
    a.  Diyixian will expand the scope of its services into the global market from its base in China , beginning with countries like Vietnam , Singapore , Japan and the European regions
    b.  The scope of Diyixian’s services will expand in line with customer demand. The company’s ultimate goal is to grow along with its customers.
    c.   Diyixian helps customers establish and expand their businesses into Greater China, where there is room for countless possibilities. Diyixian will greet the bright future hand-in-hand with its customers.

Lap Man further states that “In the past ten years, there have been other network service providers that were bigger in size and more heavily invested in than Diyixian, but they haven’t been able to retain their hold on the market the way Diyixian has. With its experienced team, Diyixian’s services are flexible and its network systems are reliable. In these last ten years, the scope of its services has continued to expand and its revenue has grown substantially. Its business volume as expanded as much as 380 times between 1999 and 2008.”

According to Diyixian’s business development roadmap, its next moves are to build the first POP in Japan, invest in a new POP in Hanoi and set up POPs in four rapidly developing cities in China – Wuhan, Qingdao, Shandong and Zhuhai. It also plans to expand the existing data centre in southern China and double the number of seats in its IP Call Centres to 2,000.

Hilton Hotels Corporation

The Hilton Hotels Corporation is an international chain of five-star hotels and resorts. With headquarters based in the United States , the corporation’s extensive network covers 80 countries worldwide, including more than 2,800 hotels, 475,000 rooms and more than 71,000 employees. The newly built Hilton Hotel ( Shanghai ) consists of 775 five-star rooms, whilst the Hilton Hotel (Kunshan) in Huaqiao International Service Business Park , comprises of 398 five-star rooms.

Hilton Hotels aims to provide world-class hotel rooms as well as superior food and beverage, meeting and banquet services. Foreign customers have a large demand of internet usage and they usually reserve accommodation through the online booking system. In addition, there is a growing need for browsing foreign websites and accessing email accounts outside of mainland China . Further to that is the increasing data transmission between the headquarters and the subsidiaries. To cater for all of these requirements, Hilton Hotels has to strengthen its internet equipment to reduce the workload of the Information Technology department, so that it can focus on its core business.

“Since the Beijing Olympics 2008, Hilton Hotels has been developing substantially in mainland China ” said Bob Wu, I.T. Director of Hilton Hotel ( Shanghai ). “With the opening of Shanghai Expo 2010, the global online reservation system has begun to saturate. Therefore, Hilton Hotels needs a reliable internet service to deal with the peak period during Shanghai Expo.”

In light of this, Hilton Hotels has adopted the Internet Plus enhanced networking service of Diyixian. Catering for the global online reservation system, the network speed has been raised by 30% and internet circulation has reached 99.99%. The delay of network is also controlled within 200ms. This system effectively solves the login authentication issue and customers are more willing to use the online reservation system. As a result, the room utility rate is raised and ultimately boosts the Hilton brand image.

Director of Hilton Hotel (Kunshan). “The newly built hotels within the region can catch up with the global online reservation system and improve the service quality.
